Very crazy situation we live in now.  From working full time to absolutely nothing.

I try to get positive out of it myself this time.  I relax and try to exercise outside every day.  No more excuses for not being able to do it.  I walk a lot and enjoy the weather.

I also like to be in the salon every now and then, I see a few of my colleagues again and I can talk about this bizarre time.  I also made a tutorial "glamorous hairstyle", this is what I like to do in the salon and often do.  That's why I thought it was a great idea to make a tutorial for the people at home to practice and know useful tips.

Can't wait to start again and everything will return to normal soon, I hope to see you all again soon.  Stay safe and healthy.

In this strange situation, I started realizing how much energy my work gives me. For me, it's normal to be around people, to have a chat, and to make beautiful hair every day, and it's so strange not to be able to do this any time soon. 

Next to ordering food, and recording a lot of useless TikTok video's, I have been working backstage at the Building. For the past 2 years I 'm assisting Rachel with the Social Media, and right now, it's very important to stay in touch with our customers, which is working out well! I have also been in the salon weekly, recording new D.I.Y. tutorials with colleagues for more Social Media content.

I'm hoping that the salon will open soon. I can't wait to see all of you and to cut & color your hair again. I think that when this quarantine is over, there's a lot of work to do.

What a crazy time. At first, I was very level-headed about it and found that everyone was exaggerating. But now I realize that it is a problem and you start thinking about how you live your own life and what it does to the earth. Through all the measures around the world you can see that we have really given the world peace. I hope that when this is over people will be much more aware of life.

I miss my job very much, from being super busy 5 days a week I suddenly had to sit at home.
We love that everyone is at home, and we are an even closer family, before this everyone lived their own lives, and we were very fond of ourselves.

I try to stay positive and not watch the news too much. I just follow to the rules, that's all you can do and have to do.

The salon is open from 10-13 for product sales and customer inquiries, there is always 1 of us available throughout the week. It's nice to be there now and then.

It's nice that Youri and Rachel are busy with Instagram. In this way they also keep us busy and updated, and we have a nice assignment every week, or we record a tutorial.

Fortunately I am doing very well, I am healthy and happy despite this crazy time. Hope you all are doing well too and can't wait to see my customers again!

April 16 The Building doors closed!  After being home for a week we had our first meeting and it started to work adapted.
We found a way To still be able to help our customers with their color, D.I.Y. Color kit.
So you can touch up your roots at home.
Together with Estella we check the color recipe in our system. In some cases the color needs to be adjusted if, so we ask the client to come to the Salon for a hair consultation. The salon is open every day from 10:00 till 13:00. 
In addition to my duties as a salon manager, I am now super busy with the operation from our web shop.
And the time at home I am with my boyfriend.
We stay active by exercising or doing odd jobs at home.

Despite the fact that there is enough work to do, I miss doing hair, the fun of with the team and our dear customers
Hopefully the salon can open soon again.
