In the beginning of the quarantine I was really trying to find my new routine and structure back in my life, because that is what we know. Rushing and try to balance work and a social life. In the second week I realized this is the time to take a step back. Think about what’s important in life and who is there for you supporting to be and do better.
In this corona couple of weeks, I had the time to do the things that were listed in my mind for a long time. Clear my mind by cleaning my whole apartment. Get healthy again cooking and exercising more. For the following days I have to keep up with the “abundance & meditation challenge” by Deepak Chopra. Next week I would really like to pick up a brush and start painting.
My vibes during this quarantine; wear my hair natural, soak up the sun and practicing my home ‘booty’ workout. I can’t wait to get back to work in a for everybody new normal situation.
Stay sane people and no it’s not a good idea to cut your bangs with kitchen scissors.
It's a crazy time for everyone, of course everyone handles it differently. I myself have noticed that I quickly got into a bubble and started to become the same every day. What I do try is to go outside once a day in a quiet place for a walk or rollerblading so that I can still keep moving.
Fortunately the weather is nice, so I get the chance to take enough vitamin D. I can't wait to get back to work and make people happy with their hair again.
Meanwhile, we try to get the salon spotless and rearrange the salons with the entire team so that everything comes into its own even more.
It is of course a very unpleasant situation, but I will try to keep a positive thinking. I am convinced that after this time better days will come.
Stay home and stay safe, hope to see you soon in the Salon.
The rhythm you are used to is gone, every day is different or the same. You cannot go to the gym or meet up for social gatherings and your daily work routine is also gone.
Just before the measures became stricter, my boyfriend and I decided that I would move in with him. As a result, I spent a lot of my days off moving, packing things up and transferring them to my new home. I Painted walls and gave my stuff a place.
The moments when the weather was nice I spent in my new garden, and we turned on the BBQ.
I look forward to little by little becoming normal again. Social contacts, going for dinners at friends.
Until then, I'm still doing odd jobs around the house.
The best part is waking up without an alarm can’t lie !
But even there for let's hope this will all pass soon, and we can go back to normal. Stay safe !
I had just started working at The Building when COVID-19 broke out, which meant that the salon had to be closed, a huge blow for everyone. You see in the news that the city of Wuhan in China is locked to prevent the virus from spreading. I still thought that is so far away and then suddenly it comes very close. I never expected that the virus would spread our side and worldwide so quickly. We are now a few weeks later and I really hope that we can open soon again. Because I am at home like many people, I have been able to follow a number of online webinars from Keune. A good way to gain some knowledge again. I look at it positively and especially now that spring has started, I am fortunately not bored so quickly that I like to walk and cycle through nature (no hot spots) to keep moving a bit.
Furthermore, it is still exciting for many how it will go in the near future. I assume the best and hope to see you again in the salon. Stay safe !!
